1. Read together - Children who read do better in school.

2. Establish a routine - Set aside time to study and a time for bed.

3. Communicate with your teacher- Stay involved with what your child is learning about.

4. Work with your child-  Help them study and prepare for tests.

5. Set limits for T.V., video games, and radio.

6. Teach your child to be responsible.  Put their homework in their backpacks, complete their homework, and be responsible for their own behaviors.
